Vodnjanska Buža olive oil from Oio Vivo has been declared the best in the category of medium fruity oils.

Istrian Oio Vivo recently won a gold medal at the prestigious international competition held in Paris, organized by the non-profit agency L’Agence pour la Valorisation des Produits Agricoles (AVPA), for its single-variety olive oil Vodnjanska Buža in the category of medium fruity oils, being recognized as the best in this category. The internationally renowned olive oil tasting competition “AVPA GOURMET World Edible Oils 2022” took place in Paris, and the results were announced on May 10th, following several months of testing and tasting over 400 oil samples from around the world, based on a special protocol and strict criteria. This award is a unique Croatian achievement, as Oio Vivo is the only representative from Croatia to have achieved such success in Paris this year, especially considering that the AVPA GOURMET award is given to only a small number of samples from all the submissions.
