Baked pear with walnuts and cranberries

Oio Vivo - desert - Kruska
Ingredients (for 4 people):
  • 2 ripe pears
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 4-6 tablespoons of agave syrup or honey
  • 30 g of coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of ground walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon of dried cranberries
  • A little Oio Vivo Buža olive oil
  • Ready caramel sauce
  • A few mint leaves for decoration
Preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a small baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pears lengthwise, remove the seeds and core, then scoop out a little from the center. Place them on the prepared tray.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground and chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and agave syrup to create a slightly sticky mixture. Fill the pears with this mixture, drizzle with a little olive oil, and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes.
  4. Chop the cranberries and sprinkle them on the baked pears. Serve with caramel sauce, additional walnuts, and cranberries, and drizzle with a bit of Buža olive oil. Garnish with mint leaves.
